Introducing Ryan “Rhino” Bramer! Ryan’s dad and brothers got him into riding BMX 12 years ago and we were lucky enough to have him join the J&R National Team in 2021. He believes some of the biggest challenges riders face when racing BMX are staying healthy and winning. But winning is a challenge Ryan loves to overcome. Some of Ryan’s proudest BMX moments have been winning Grands in 2015 and earning a national # in 2021. He was also nominated for Team Captain, which speaks to the kind of incredible teammate he is.
Ryan’s favorite track is Cape Coral. “The track is fun, gate is fast, and great atmosphere. I really like it there,” he explains. He’s gearing up for future races and says the one he is looking forward to the most is Charlotte, FL. “It’s another fun track in Florida that I really enjoy,” he says. Ryan loves getting to ride different tracks and meet new people. He says the best part of competing is, “Traveling to different tracks and places and getting to see friends.” When asked about his favorite BMX rider he explains he is inspired by Romain Mahieu. “He’s the World Cup Champion and the Elite World Champion,” Ryan says, “I really his riding style. He’s very smooth, stays composed and nothing flashy.”
We look forward to seeing you up on the podium, Ryan! Best of luck from the whole J&R Family!!
Congratulations. Ryan!
