Custom Wheel Build
How To Build Your Dream Wheels?
Choose The Hubs
At the center of it all, your hubs consist of axles, bearings and hub shells with drilled flanges for attaching the spokes. Be sure to select the correct hole count and axle type to work for your riding situation, frame and fork.
Choose The Rims
The hoop or rim is the outermost part of the wheel to which the tire is attached. Rear rims often have machined sidewalls to facilitate better braking response. Be sure select the correct size and hole count to match the hubs, frame and fork.
Choose The Spokes
Spokes connect the hubs to the rims. They are available in Straight Gauge Steel, Double Butted Steel and Titanium. This is one area where you can really shave some of that critical rotating weight if your budget allows for it. Double Butted are light, but Titanium are lighter!
Choose The Nipples
Spoke Nipples are like the glue that hold your spokes in place and allow for adjustment to the spokes when truing a wheel that has picked up a wobble out at the track. Available in brass, steel and alloy, with several colors to choose from, this is a great way to add a little bling.
Add to Cart and Checkout
Place your selected items into the cart. Also be sure to include Rim Tape and Cog if you don’t already have them. During the checkout process, leave a short note mentioning WHEEL BUILD and the spoke cross pattern if you want something other than 3x Front/Rear.
